4 May 2012- Notice - Decision 01 of 2012 is Modified .
The Regulator has modified its Decision 01 of 2012. TVL and Digicel is now required to propose their terms and conditions for its interconnection services (RIO) to the Regulator before 25 June 2012. Read the modification.
27 April 2012- Terms of Reference Consumer and Business Advisory Groups.
TRR is implementing its Consumer Protection Guideline by establishing two consumer advisory Groups (Business and Individual Consumer). Consumer Protection is a Global Issue and there are many International best Practices that Vanuatu could gain from. The Terms of Reference for the Group is attached for individuals who are interested to learn more about their respective roles.
28 March 2012- Order to All Telecommunication Licensees.
On 27 March 2012, the Regulator issued an Order to all telecommunication licensees. This Order requires Licensees to supply information to the Regulator that is relevant to the exercise of the Regulator’s functions, duties and responsibilities under the Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Regulation Act 2009 and the telecommunication licences. 27 March 2012- The transfer of the telecommunications portfolio from the Ministry of Public Utilities to the Prime Minister’s Office.
In March 2012, the country has seen the transfer of the telecommunications portfolio from the Ministry of Public Utilities to the Prime Minister’s Office. This has partly resulted from the Suspension Notice issued to Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Regulator in early February 2012. Suspension Notice and Revocation Order.

22 February 2012- Consumer Protection Guidelines
Consumer Protection is particularly important in the telecommunications sector as a result of introducing competition which gives consumers service choices for the first time and rapid technological changes which characterize the sector. As a result TRR has released the Consumer Protection Guideline for the respective industry.
